Show Me What You Got (X and Write, and Narrative games!)

Hi,

I have found enough roll and write games and probably will not purchase any more.

*NEW add on* Looking for Middara: Unintentional Malum

***EVEN NEWER***

Do you have an old game you dont want anymore? Having a hard time finding a buyer?

I'm currently desiring to purchase old games you're having a hard time getting rid of. But with some caveats.

I'm not interested in playing your games, I just want to scrap them for parts I can use for prototypes and play-testing. So I am mainly interested in games that have: dice, cubes, discs, meeples, money (this is what im most interested in), tiles i can do paste ups on, etc.

I'm NOT interested in just cards (I pick up plenty of chaff from local mtg and Pokémon draft nights)

Thank you!

I have cascadia rolling rivers and rolling hills NIS if you are interested

I have Trek 12: Himalaya. Let me know if you’re interested!

edit to add: Janell has Boomerang listed as well (draft & write)

Also spotted on various lists (Lackey, ivyhymn..): Cartographers, Three Sisters, Railroad Ink, Rome & Roll

Thanks @ninorsaur for the shout out!

Yes I have a number of X and write in my collection which I am still thinking about, but for now I have Rome & Roll,  Second Chance and Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade listed.  Rome & Roll would be the heaviest.

Hi everyone, thanks for the responses so far. I'm going to definitely check these out when I can get my head above water and have some time.

A couple quick replies so specific games mentioned

Trek 12 Himalaya - I have played this, and wasn't blown away, so I will pass, but thank you @ninorsaur!

Same story with On Tour @Emily, but thank you!

@Ivyhymn - I completely forgot that I own super skill pinball.

The rest I'll check out and hopefully reach back out!

Hi,

I'm in the hunt this year for really neat and unique X and Write games (I have the Welcome To Games, Silver and Gold, Hadrian's Wall, and Dinosaur Island Rawr and Write, maybe a few others I cannot remember atm).

Also some fun neat narrative games.

and Deception Murder in Hong Kong (by itself or with expansion)

I don't have any specific titles in mind, but am open to ideas!

Thank you!

I also have

Your Best Life for sale, it's a flip and write where you can play individually or as teams of couples building points for a life well lived. It's out of shrink but unplayed, I got it at the last swap before my gaming group realized they are not into X and writes in general.

Thank you everyone for the replies.  I made an edit to the post to reflect the following as well:

@marcus - I currently have a deal in place for Murder in Hong Kong, but thank you

Genie and Adarsh - I will look into these, but most likely I won't be solidifying anything until at least the week of the event.  If you find someone else interested in them, please do not hold it on my account!

Thank you all!

Re: Board game bits - I (and a few other folks) are selling Starship Interstellar. It must've been overproduced like crazy, because it's cheap (the game's fine, but it's the biggest table hog I've ever seen). Might be worth a look.

... it has so many bits. Might be the kind of thing you're looking for.

This definitely looks good!

Just to set expectations though, I've had a few people DM about this, and I'm averaging probably 50 cents to $2 a game (generally a bundle of games being sold for $5-$10).

I may have the exact thing you need! I picked up a blank “make your own board game” kit without realizing what it was. It’s pristine and has so many whatsits and gizmos, dice, etc.

I’m not a designer, so I’m happy to pass it along. $10 to a good home!

My main question: all the blank things, are they dry erase?

I  have no idea. I’ll get back to you on that. 👍🏼

I saved a ziploc bag of cardboard hexes that are punched out of a Gravitrax mat/board thing. Yours if you want ‘em!
